Girls Night - Teen Titans TK Story

After a long week full of ass kicking and saving Jump City from a crap load of villains, the Teen Titan's returned to their Tower to kick back, relax, and unwind.

The smell of popcorn and fried tofu wafted through Titan Tower as Cyborg, Robin and Beastboy indulged in their favourite munchies while naturally hogging the T.V. 

Raven sat cross legged on the foot of the couch reading one of her old creepy books in bliss, occasionally popping a popcorn in her mouth. Silky greedily slurped up the crumbs that the boys carelessly tossed around the living-room. 

It seemed like everyone was enjoying there night except Star, who floated restlessly around the room trying to thinking of something other then veg out on the couch like they did almost every weekend. 

She came to the conclusion that she had to pry someone away from there amusement or she would surely pass away from shear boredom.

The boys were never any fun once they hit the couch, would take a tornado or a earthquake to tear them from that damn television. Raven on the other hand was more easy to convince, all it would take was her infamous puppy dog stare and Raven would do almost anything she wanted. (half willingly of course)  

Star floated up directly in front of Raven, who was too into her book to notice, and slightly tapped on it. Raven lowered her book to find Star with the sweetest, cutest most loving puppy dog eyes ever imaginable in her face.

"What now Starfire?" She sighed "Can't you see I'm busy?" 

"Oh but Raven, I'm so incredibly tired of doing the couch potatoing!" Star whined, still keeping her eyes locked with Rae's.

"Well, what do you have in mind then?" 

"I was thinking we could paint our nails and maybe even induce in girly talk in my bedroom!" Star beamed

"Skip the girly talk and I'm in...plus i could use a new coat of purple." Star couldn't tell if she was being sarcastic or not. "Glorious!" She shouted happily, grabbed Raven and quickly dragged her upstairs. The boys didn't even notice them zoom out of the room.

Once upstairs in her room Starfire began tossing all kinds of tacky nail polish on the bed. Raven looked at them in disgust. 

"Umm Star...do you have anything...less bright?" Raven said as she sat down.

"Uhhhh..." Star paused

"Never mind, i'm sure we can just share stories or something."  

"That is a wonderful idea!" Star replied "Can you begin? I am very much fascinated by your stories!" 

"Well ok, just don't expect an amazing one" 

Raven went on telling Star about her days in Azarath and how she always kept to herself as a kid, seeing is that her father was a inter-dimensional demon hell-bent on enslaving the universe. No one really accepted her but her mother Arella, who was the only one who could make her smile let alone laugh. 

Only about five minutes through Raven's story Starfire couldn't resist the urge to interrupt out of curiosity. 

"Umm, excuse me friend but might i ask one little question?

"What's so important that you had to interrupt me while i was just getting to the good part?" Rae snapped

"Well i was sort of wondering something...."

"Well...spit it out already Star your holding me up!"

"How did your mother get you to smile?" Starfire asked curiously

"Oh...well...she would tell me funny story's and sometimes when i was really feeling down she would tickle me till i cheered up." Raven blushed

Starfire's eyes widened as soon as Rae mentioned tickling. 

"Well that's when i was little of course!" Rae added noticing Starfire's facial features.  

The truth is...she didn't know if she was still ticklish or not, hoping her red haired Tamarainian friend would forget what she said, she tried to switch the topic but Star was quick to cut her off.

"Im worried about you  Raven!" She slightly shouted standing up

giving Raven a bit of a scare.

"What for? I'm perfectly fine." 

"Well its just...you said only your mom could make you smile and laugh but that was not since some time ago, correct?" Star continued "And on my home planet if someone is not joyful or happy they are considered very very ill."

"Well if you haven't noticed i can't afford to show any emotions Star....my powers are drawn threw them."Raven added 

"I thought your powers were only effected by anger?" 

"Well yeah.....i suppose so?" Raven shivered "But I'm not sick or anything! I just went through a lot as a kid and I'm not so easy to cheer up anymore."

"Well i believe I have an idea how to do the cheering up!" Star smiled evilly.
